Is there gossip about your character Byerly should know? Petrana is a rifter, so it's unlikely that there's much gossip about her that isn't that—she was the head of the diplomacy division for about six months, and rumored to still have a tense relationship with several of her former division head colleagues. She's very Orlesian for someone who apparently comes from a world where Orlais doesn't exist, which is probably most of the gossip about her after her recent excursion to Ferelden to deal with Bann Selwyn and his family. In a romantic relationship with a mage who has familial ties to Fereldan aristocracy, on a related note, and has been outspoken in the past on mage rights, definitely sympathetic to the idea mages ought to have inheritance rights particularly.

Is there anything else I should know? She is an extremely lovely woman who learned politics via conquest, so she can be kind of alarming in her approach.
