Is there gossip about your character Byerly should know? If by gossip you mean directly experienced. 8) (It's in the info page). Readily available goss from Hightown has her spending the majority of her nights at the Asgard estate with enough of her wardrobe moved over that she never has to walk of shame it.
Why is a beautiful Orlesian noblewoman of not-insignificant means and breeding half-moved in with a Tevene Altus who's probably a slaver and probably a blood mage and probably worships the Old Gods because Maker aren't they all like that up North? Idk, but some salty more appropriate would-be-suitors might drunkenly and unsubstantiatedly mutter that probably it's because blood magic.
Can he bring this up in private conversation with your character? Y
Can he bring this up publicly? Y
Is there anything about your character that would be listed in intelligence reports? Probably not, save possibly that she acquired a relatively well-known and respected Bard as a lady's maid at 17. Although said Bard was theoretically 'retired' at the time and showed no hint of covert activity after her employment by the De La Fontaines.
He probably actually knows Emile, and may have been duly surprised to find this out about the real nice Mrs. Potts looking woman who faithfully attended Lexie.

Would you be open to Byerly blackmailing your character? Aw Yee
Would you be open to Byerly deceiving your character and tricking them into acting against Inquisition interests/their own interests? Do eeeet. Although she's largely self-interested anyway. (Surprise!) Feel free to use Loki against her, that'll work.
Would you be open to Byerly drugging and/or interrogating your character? Y
Would you be open to Byerly uncovering new information about your character's past/present? Y
Is your character interested in espionage/engaged in espionage? She sure is! She's still mostly a honeypot, but in those eight years they weren't hanging out because she broke up with him like a jerk she's gotten pretty durn good at spy-adjacent skills and is aiming for more than adjacency.
Could they be cultivated into an intelligence asset for Ferelden? I mean, not for Ferelden, that place is wet and full of dogs and has a questionable relationship with her beloved country. She might be convincible to help ya boy out sometime though.
