[ Byerly isn't suffering any less - or at least isn't suffering much less, he does have that barbarian ancestry that probably makes him stand strong against the evils of sack mead and all that - but he is well practiced at this. And so he's the one who extricates himself from Bastien's limbs (gingerly, so as to disturb him as little as possible) and goes to where, presumably, a pitcher of water is kept. ]
