Byerly is a spy. This means two things: (1) he has access to more information than the average new character; (2) he may act in devious and underhanded ways against current PCs and NPCs. I do not do not want to overstep any bounds with this. Please fill out the permissions post below. If you do not fill it out, then I will assume all questions below are a blanket "no."




<b>Is there gossip about your character Byerly should know?</b> Byerly has an encyclopedic knowledge of gossip that would be circulated in Ferelden high society. He also most likely knows any gossip that has been circulated in Orlesian high society. He also plausibly might have heard things from the courts of the Northern nations. If there's anything about your character that might have reached his ear (beyond what's listed on your info page), please put it here. <b>Can he bring this up in private conversation with your character?</b> <b>Can he bring this up publicly?</b> <b>Is there anything about your character that would be listed in intelligence reports?</b> Ferelden intelligence keeps reports on members of the Inquisition. (Note that Ferelden intelligence isn't super-sophisticated yet; they would not have access to all your character's secrets. You can pick and choose which ones you want to be known.) Byerly would have read these reports before coming to the Inquisition. Is there gossip about your character Byerly should know? See MJ's answer, father Petros was a Nevarran noble, mother Valaria's brother, Amancio Vivas, is one of Antiva's Merchant Princes, unless you dgaf about Nevarra and Antiva and all the little pesky nobles, item # 3 in a list of horrible scandalous tragedies befalling the Averesches, dead daughter, one son in a Circle, the other an exiled assassin, the family had been in decline anyway but this is probably the end of their line, how sad, etc. in some gossip he tricked the son of a minor nobleman, Caspar Perakis, into helping him with the assassination. in some gossip, Caspar Perakis tricked Nikos into helping. ANYWAYS, after exile, Nikos moved to Antiva and became a drunk, and killed more people, most of them noblemen, probably for money

Is there anything about your character that would be listed in intelligence reports? one time, when he was like 18, he tried to assassinate the king of Nevarra with Caspar Perakis, another noble (better looking than Nikos). then he was exiled. after exile, Nikos moved to Antiva where he gets drunk and assassinates other people. deep gossip: founded a secret spy and info ring called the Spider's something (it's in Antivan). probably some gossip related to Caspar too? Nikos tries really fucking hard to keep their fucking on the fucking dl, and keep their true love even MORE on the dl, but it's not like he keeps his intense and obsessive staring under any kind of control. oh I guess he's an intense revolutionary too? not hard to find that out.
